MECHANICAL TESTING

The IMR mechanical testing lab, which has numerous analytical tools that it uses to provide clear, concise analyses and solutions to clients, is well equipped to perform most standard mechanical testing as well as specialized tests designed to the customer's requirements. Our mechanical testing staff is comprised of professional, knowledgeable experts who are well-versed in the latest techniques, such as tensile testing, bond strength testing and fatigue testing, to evaluate the physical properties of metals, composites and polymers.

A complete in-house machine shop supports the department’s fatigue and composite testing capabilities with precise specimen preparation and fixture fabrication. For information about our mechanical testing services, contact:

Jim Andrews (Mgr-Mechanical Lab/Machine Shop in NY),
Brett Miller (Lab Director in KY),
Tom Ackerson (Lab Director in SC), or
Doug Puerta (Lab Director in OR)

You can also request a quote or receive a start-up kit to learn more about our mechanical testing services.

IMR’s mechanical testing team helps solve complicated issues through a range of highly specialized services, including composite and fatigue testing.
