IMR Test Labs Joins America Makes, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute
America Makes is the nation’s leading public-private partnership for additive manufacturing technology and education. Our members from industry, academia, government, the workforce, and economic development organizations collaborate to accelerate the adoption of additive manufacturing and enhance the nation’s global manufacturing competitiveness.
Founded in 2012 as the Department of Defense’s National Manufacturing Innovation Institute for AM and the first of the Manufacturing USA network, America Makes is based in Youngstown, Ohio, and managed by the not-for-profit National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM).
IMR Test Labs is committed to the expansion of additive manufacturing and is continuing to expand our capabilities in testing and analysis of metal AM powders, as well as fatigue testing of finished products.
